When asking such a question, you must understand that we are not talking about some average Armenian city, but about the capital of the country. Yerevan is a beautiful sunny city that will bring a lot of pleasant, and sometimes even unforgettable, impressions to both you and your children.

Of the places that will be of interest to tourists of different ages, I would put in first place such a “living” attraction as the Singing Fountains. They were installed in the capital more than 35 years ago and since then have been extremely popular among residents and guests of the city. Not long ago, the fountains underwent reconstruction and began to look as modern as possible. The fountains are located in the central square of the city and you can watch the light and sound show in the evening. It is worth noting that the program changes daily.

One of the best places to visit with children is the Yerevan Zoo, which offers its visitors the opportunity to not only see different animals, but also interact with some species. There are many animals in the zoo, and for many of them conditions have been created that are as close to natural as possible. If you guess the timing, you can visit this zoo at the time when the animals are being fed (in some cases, the animal’s meal can be called a real show). On holidays, at the zoo you can meet the heroes of your favorite children’s cartoons, fairy-tale characters, and witness various show programs.

In the city center you will also have the opportunity to visit such a place as the exotarium. It occupies a small area and invites visitors to admire snakes, rare species of lizards and other types of reptiles from as close as possible. Children get maximum pleasure from the opportunity to feed parrots directly from their hands and take pictures with some species of animals.

Take your children to the local Lunapark, where everyone will find many interesting attractions, ranging from bright carousels for the little ones to more extreme ones for older children. Lunapark is located in a beautiful park, where there are places for recreation and a cafe. In good weather, you can spend the whole day in this place.

As I already told you, Yerevan is a capital city, and therefore here you can find entertainment for every taste. The city also has a good outdoor water park, Waterworld, which occupies a vast area and can delight visitors with slides of varying difficulty, swimming pools, and playgrounds. The territory of this water complex is decorated with various landscape compositions and living plants. You can be sure that not only your children, but also you will enjoy visiting this place.

Another open-air entertainment center is the Children’s Railway. This complex was opened in a characteristic location – on the territory of the old railway station. Among other things, the station building itself was preserved, several old trains were painted with bright colors and are now available to everyone. As a rule, this complex is of greatest interest to boys.

Yerevan is home to many interesting entertainment centers. I don’t see the point in visiting each of them, but it’s worth a look at the Play City center, as it is considered one of the best. In this place, children of different ages will find a lot of interesting things for themselves, ranging from special playrooms, all kinds of inflatable attractions and soft toys, to paintball and bowling areas (the latter large ones are aimed at adults and older children). You can restore your strength and have a good snack in the cafe on the territory of the center.

There are several interesting museums in Yerevan, but it seems to me that they will be interested in the Geological Museum of Armenia, which contains an impressive collection of geological artifacts. In the museum you can see rare collections of minerals and semi-precious stones; interesting excursions are regularly held around the museum, which will be interesting, including for children (even children).
